Social Program

We cannot live on theatre alone, so we have organised some additional activities to enhance the cultural exchange.

The social program is being developed right now, so check this page regularly for updates!!

Tuesday 26th & THURSDAY 28th of JANUARY:   Open Stage

15 minutes after the show, we will host an open stage for the audience to improvise together and with the festival actors. Duration ca. 30 minutes.
MC's: Marijn Vissers (Tuesday) and Rod Ben Zeev (Thursday)

Wednesday 27th of January: Dutch Night

2zwaantjes

Shortly after the show we will leave for the typical Dutch Café 'De 2 Zwaantjes' - Prinsengracht 114. Everyone is welcome to join us!

Friday JANUARY 29th:    Karaoke Night in the foyer

After the show we will present you your own stage: Sing the songs you missed that night or try to remember the improv songs you heard. Take the mic and sing-along your song!
Hosts: Ingrid Kluft and Bart Brouwers van De Arrogantjes

SATURDAY JANUARY 30th:   Ever After Party!

After the final show, the festival will end with a grand party in the bar of the Rozentheater. Everyone who has visited the last show can of course plunge in right after it. But... All the visitors of this years' festival are invited after 23.00. So keep your ticket and get dressed as your favorite existing or non-existing Story-Character!

To stay in the Once Upon and Ever After mood, there will be live storytelling by De Jonge Honden in the 'theaterzaal' at 23.30 and 0.30 (duration app. 30 minutes).

 De Jonge Honden

Storytelling Crew 'De Jonge Honden'
(The Young Dogs)

Three young Dutch storytellers are on a mission to put storytelling on the map in the Netherlands (or die trying). For the improfestival De Jonge Honden created a special English set of traditional and non-traditional stories. Mixed with live music, humor and all kinds of other surprises their stories will come flying at you from every possible angle.
