The theme of this year's festival is 'Once Upon and Ever After' , expressing our effort to astonish the audience with '1001 ways of improvised theatre'. When we improvise, we create scenes, we create stories... Ever since man began to speak, special ways of telling tales have been around, each with its own set of characters and its own set of rules. No fairy tale without an evil witch, no rollercoaster movie without exploding vehicles and no Sherlock Holmes without a clue. Each culture has its own way of building up good stories, even the improvised ones. And that's what we want to emphasize a bit during this years festival: in what way inspires and influences culture the formats and genres, the way we improvise?
